Saturday Morning Arrow Ride (All year)

A steady level 2 ride for those wanting to build a stamina base for the winter or just enjoy the New Forest countryside in the Summer.

Meet: Parley Crossroads BH22 8EN
Time: 8.30am  (8.45am pick up at Avon Causeway)
Distance/Terrain: c. 45 miles  over undulating terrain; some weeks we do a loop through the Forest, other times we might head north to enjoy the quiet lanes around Cranborne.
Pace: Steady c.18-19mph

The following rides are supported by Arrow riders but are not Arrow rides.  

They suit riders of intermediate fitness and beyond. If you are looking for a slower-paced ride, the Sky Ride Local and BC Social Rides, also listed on this website, are ideal for beginners and non-competitive riders alike.

Tuesday Evening  (Winter only)

Meet: Foot of Haven Road, Poole  (aka “Harbour Heights Hill”)
Time: 6.45pm
Distance/Terrain: 3 laps of street circuit, c. 30 miles
Pace: Steady
Who: Arrow & other local clubs
Suitable for: Intermediate and Advanced

Thursday Evening Hardriders (Winter only)

Meet: Bear Cross, at the bus shelter
Time: 6.30pm
Distance/Terrain: c. 30 miles, some country lanes
Pace: Fast-steady
Who: Local fastmen
Suitable For: Advanced

Saturday Morning Christchurch (All year)

Meet: Waitrose car park, Christchurch
Time: 9.00am
Distance/Terrain: c. 20 miles Christchurch-Burton Green-Burley Cafe. Steady ride back via Crow-Ripley-Burton Green
Pace: Often several groups of varying pace, from slow to brisk
Who: Supported by all local clubs
Suitable for: Beginner and Intermediate

Sunday Morning Hardriders (Winter only)

Meet: Bear Cross – bus stop on Wimborne Road just before roundabout
Time: 9.00am
Distance/Terrain: c.75 miles, no stops
Pace: Hard
Who: Local fastmen
Suitable for: Advanced
