Congratulations to our 2019 prize winners :
This popular event was enjoyed by over 50 riders last year. Starting at Bisterne village hall on the B3347 (BH24 3BN) from 9am, the route takes in the lanes and villages of the New Forest. Riders start in small groups of similar ability and to keep safe. The attached route map is provided in hard copy and there is the option of a 33 mile route. Entry on the day: members £3, guests £5. Refreshments and cakes will be available. . Any queries: Peter Fairbank 07941 052341.
Dear club members and those interested in (re-) joining the club
Membership for 2020 is now open.
Renewing or joining your membership will start straight away. Great way to make use of Friday night wattbike training sessions.
In addition we will be offering any new or existing club members who sign up before the 31st December 2019 a short sleeve cycling for a reduced rate of £20. This is based on the comfort fit short sleeve jersey normally priced at £47 or similar youth or children’s short sleeve jersey.
A number of additional payment options have been added to the club membership subscriptions page via BC website.
Gareth will be in contact to confirm your jersey size.
If you want a different, more expensive article of clothing, we may extend the offer to this but you will need to pay the additional difference between your chosen article and the comfort jersey.
Halo Sports have kindly sent Gareth a range of sizes of the mens and ladies clubfit and racefit jerseys for trying on. Gareth will be available most weeks at Friday Wattbike session, otherwise email firstname.lastname@example.org to make alternative arrangements or for further info.
Orders will be collated and placed every couple of weeks.
Also don’t forget that our previous 25% clothing discount offer is still available until 31st December 2019, for anyone wanting additional kit. Cannot be used on the memberships jersey option.
6th October – Club Hillclimb – This year’s hill is Creech, part of the Poole Wheelers club event so entry is on the day. A club ride to the event is planned, details will be posted on our Facebook page nearer the date.
