2020 Events Update – Winter/Spring

2020 Social Rides and Events

Sunday 16 February Road Ride 9 am start At Café Velo in Ringwood – The Forest Classic 100km Reliability Ride with Café Velo. It would be good to see the club out in force with club kit on. Lots of riders not affiliated to a club so opportunity to recruit.

Sunday 23 February Moors Valley Mountain Bike Ride 10am. Taking in a loop of the single track then branching out to Ringwood Forest. Should be around 15-18 miles total. Starting at the ‘APE’ statue and finishing at the coffee shop.

Haven’t got a Mountain Bike, you can hire one from the Cycle Hire Centre: https://www.moors-valley.co.uk/things-to-do/cycle-hire/

If there are any beginners – Mums, Dads, Kids, who want to do purely a lap of the single track ‘Through The Forest Loop’ of 4.4 mikes (7km) to get the feel of mountain biking then happy to do this for a 9am start. You will need to email me at dstain01@tiscali.co.uk to register your interest.
